The Main/Alt History measures the performance difference between maincoins and altcoins, helping traders identify whether the market is in a maincoin trend (green bars) or an altcoin trend (red bars). A maincoin trend typically indicates that large-cap tokens led by BTC are outperforming (rising more or falling less), while an altcoin trend reflects stronger performance among non-BTC or smaller-cap tokens.
