Lending volume and fee rate
Top: daily lots lent, stacked by type, with the closing price. Bottom: on the same time axis, each type's fee rate weighted by that day's volume — the two are never merged into one line, because an auction rate is called out by the market while a negotiated rate is agreed between two parties.
Scheduled return by month
The one forward-looking view on this page: every trade's scheduled return date, bucketed by month. It covers only the positions lent in the last 30 days, not every share on loan in the market; in practice a loan can be returned early or rolled over.
Trade detail
| Date | Type | Lots lent | Fee rate | Days | ||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Listed trade by trade, never merged within a day — the fee rate, scheduled return date and term belong to each individual trade and merging would hide them. On a day with several trades, the date is dimmed from the second row on.

How to read securities lending data
Taiwan Stock DataSecurities lending data is a record of shares actually lent out, split into negotiated trades (the fee rate is agreed privately between the two parties, which is how most large institutional loans are done) and auction trades (bid openly on the platform, with the rate called out by the market). Lots lent rising while the fee rate climbs usually means borrow supply is tightening and someone is willing to pay more to get the shares.
Lending in large-cap names is almost entirely negotiated, and it is common for an entire period to contain not a single auction trade — that is not missing data, it means the shares in that name can be sourced by negotiation.
Borrowing shares does not mean they will be sold. Hedging, arbitrage, ETF creation and redemption and settlement all use borrowed shares, so more lending cannot be read directly as a bearish signal.
