About TAIEX futures
- What are the TAIEX futures trading hours?
- The night (after-hours) session runs 15:00 to 05:00 the next day; the day session runs 08:45 to 13:45. Both are the same contract, and price changes are measured against the previous trading day's settlement price.
- What do bid-side and ask-side volume mean?
- Ask-side (outer) volume is traded at the ask price — buyers chasing; bid-side (inner) volume is traded at the bid price — sellers hitting. A higher ask-side share means buyers are relatively aggressive.
- How live is this page?
- The chart updates every minute with about a 1-minute delay; outside trading hours it shows the most recent full session.
- How is Mini-TAIEX futures (MTX) different from TXF?
- MTX tracks the same underlying index as TXF; the difference is contract size — TXF is NT$200 per index point, MTX NT$50, so contract value and margin are about one quarter of the full-size contract, suiting smaller accounts.
