Connect Telegram

Want to chat with your agent on Telegram? Create your own bot and paste its token — this is optional, and the web workspace keeps working either way.

Setup steps

Open @BotFather in Telegram, send /newbot, and follow the prompts to name your bot. BotFather then gives you a bot token (it looks like 1234567890:AAxxxx…) — copy it.

Open the workspace, click More at the bottom of the sidebar, then go to Settings › Connections. Paste the token into the Bot token field under Telegram and click Connect. Your server needs to be running to connect.

Open your new bot in Telegram and send it a message. The first message completes pairing and gets no reply — the agent responds normally from the second message on.

Telegram connects to the cloud machine: it and the web workspace talk to the same agent on your server — use either. Your bot token is stored encrypted and is only readable by your own server.
